Weekly Goals - March 23, 2010

Still a little short, but did finish off the latest chapter in my third Aston novel. Also had some free time with a late-night insomnia bout, so was able to get some other work done that I hadn't planned on.

Results for this week:

1. Around 1200 words completed on Death Brings the Victory
2. Submitted
<3> Completed plots for three new short stories [bonus goal completed]

And now the goals for this coming week:

1. 1500 words on first draft of new story "Shell Games"
2. Submit "Collateral"

Submission status for the week:

Short stories:
"Collateral" (Rejected, need to re-submit)
"Conventional Wisdom" (since January 10)
"Deadly Decisions" (submitted March 20)

    A bonus goal! Good for you. I actually exceeded my ten page goal by three pages last week, so I was happy. This novel is taking longer to finish than I anticipated. I am loving the ending, though.

    Unfortunately, the bonus goal only came about because of insomnia...but hey, I'll take it. ;-)

    Congratulations on exceeding your goal...I'm still quite a ways away from finishing the first draft on mine, and that's probably not helping me get it finished. :-)

    It's good to love your endings. :-D
